As a dancer I've always wanted to train out of the country and my spirit has always called to Africa. On my first out of country experience on my own I not only wanted to document the beauty of my trip but the people who helped me though. I am because we are. The teachers and the family at the Dagara Music Center quickly became my own family and taught me so much about West African music, dance, culture, and life as a whole.
